“No matter how they got down there, we still gotta do something about it,” defensive end Shaun Ellis said yesterday.
The Patriots have allowed 13 touchdowns in opponents’ 24 trips inside their 20-yard line this season. Those numbers place them 20th in the league.
“That’s definitely a point where we always want to be strong,” defensive lineman Vince Wilfork said. “We want to be able to walk away making them kick a field goal instead of kicking an extra point.”
