As of Thursday, it remained unclear whether Washington Redskins linebacker London Fletcher would be healthy enough to play in Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills in Toronto. Fletcher injured his hamstring last Sunday against Carolina and said during the week that he didn’t know if it would recover in time. He did not practice Wednesday and was listed as a limited participant in Thursday’s practice.
He has made 169 consecutive starts and played in 214 consecutive games — every one that’s been on his schedule since he entered the league. The latter streak is tied with Tampa Bay’s Ronde Barber for the longest current consecutive-games streak in the league, and I have little doubt Fletcher isn’t going to allow it to end.
